Position Vacant: Financial Planning Administrator/ Paraplanner

Investment & Retirement Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced individual who is passionate about customer service to provide excellent experience for our clients. Our practice specializes in late accumulation and early retirement planning. We are seeking someone with a high level of communication skills, who can relate well to this client demographic.

The role is to manage the client review processes, including building and implementing client reviews. Ad-hoc administration workflows will also be required.

This is a demanding role and you will be required to be a fast learner with the ability to apply technical financial concepts, prioritize your time efficiently and liaise with a highly professional team.

The Role

  • Assist Financial Adviser(s) with constructing client reviews, documentation and presentations.
  • Be responsible for the implementation of portfolio transactions. Requiring attention to detail, adherence to compliance requirements and documented procedures.
  • Assist with the upkeep of the financial planning software and keep up to date with changes and enhancements
  • Provide assistance to Financial Adviser/support team with client documentation, preparation and lodgements of forms
  • Assist Financial Adviser(s) with practice compliance requirements

Core Competencies

  • Knowledge of Financial planning advice and investment platforms. Experience with Xplan will be highly regarded. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel will be essential.
  • Tertiary education in Financial planning will be favourable.
  • Must be able to work efficiently and accurately within a team environment. 
  • The ability to manage and prioritise your workflows with a dedication to delivering timely and effective outcomes.  
  • The ability to be resourceful and able to resolve problems by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in producing written reports 
  • Integrity, punctuality, reliability, and a focus on self-development and achieving results.
